The View was founded in 2025 by James Cowan, who has 5 years of industry experience, having been involved with reputable companies such as Rettie, Frank Knight, Cullen Kilshaw, James Agent, and FBR Seed and many others in and round Scotland. Recognising a gap in the market within the Scottish Borders, James sought to redefine property photography by focusing on crafting a compelling story through high-end images and video footage. His approach prioritises people over profit, aiming to deliver professional and engaging visual content that truly represents both residential and commercial properties.
